I want you to greatly benefit from the time you will have with your coach each session.

These suggestions will help maximize the value of our sessions:

1.   Have a vision that reflects what you really want in life. Coaching works best when you have clear goals and you’re open to change. As your coach, I will ask you to be willing to experiment with fresh approaches and to be open to redesigning the parts of your life that are not working right now, using the gifts you have been granted and enjoying life as it was meant to be enjoyed. If you are not sure what your goals are, we can discuss them during our coaching session.

2.   Be willing to:

•   Look at your assumptions/decisions

•   Re-design how you spend your time

•   Change some self-limiting behaviors and beliefs

•   Raise your personal commitment

3.   Come to the coaching session with an agenda. We have 45-60 minutes together for each session. You may wish to have a written list of things to share and discuss. It may include things like problems you are facing, new skills and strategies you want to develop, advice you want in a situation, goals to achieve, etc.

COACHING COMMITMENT/PLEDGE

As a life coach, my first commitment and pledge is to your PRIVACY — you are assured complete CONFIDENTIALITY to the fullest extent. I uphold professional commitments, which include honesty, integrity, and forthrightness.

COMMITMENT

If you’re considering being coached, you want meaningful results. Those results need your commitment. Most of the projects we’ll undertake together may require up to three months to complete, so if you hire me to be your coaching partner, you’ll be making a commitment of at least three months to yourself and to the coaching process. Generally, all sessions will be scheduled at the same time each week.

FIELDWORK

I may suggest fieldwork or home assignments, and I usually ask my clients to come up with a goal or an action or a breakthrough to have between a session and the next. If this is too much, say so. If you want more, just ask.
